Your wedding day is probably the most important day of your life & the choice of venue for your reception is vital in ensuring that everything is perfect. 

From helping you arrange the reception in advance to managing all the details on the day, the team at the Kingswell will take care of you with a professional & friendly approach based on years of experience.

  The Restaurant at the Kingswell has a wonderful ‘ Old World ’ atmosphere & an excellent reputation for good food based on the freshest of local ingredients. 

The restaurant can be booked for wedding breakfasts. 

We can accommodate parties up to 95 for a sit down meal.  At certain times of the year the restaurant may also be available in the evening for a buffet party following the main reception.

This would be subject to the wedding breakfast being over 70.

  We will be happy to assist you in selecting an individual menu from the enclosed selection, one menu must be chosen for the entire party but a vegetarian alternative can be arranged.  For smaller parties it may also be possible to offer choices of starters & sweets.

TOASTS AND SPEECHES

  These are normally at the end of the meal and accompany the cutting & distribution of the cake.  They take place in the following order.

1       The Bride & Groom cut the cake

2       The toast to the Bride and Groom, normally proposed by the Bride’s father

3       The toast to the Bridesmaids, proposed by the Groom after his response to the first toast

4       The Best Man responds to the previous toast & reads telegrams

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Confirmed bookings must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of £500.  A further deposit of 80% of the final estimated cost is due at least four weeks before the wedding when final numbers must also be notified.

The balance of the estimated final costs are due in the week prior to the wedding.

  Reductions of over 10% in notified final numbers may incur extra charges equivalent to the loss of hotel revenue.

  The following cancellation charges apply if the wedding should be cancelled by the customer.  It is advised that insurance cover is organised in case of this unfortunate event occurring.

  For cancellations 8-24 weeks in advance, up to 50% of estimated final cost

For cancellations 4-8 weeks in advance, up to 75% of estimated final cost

For cancellations 1-4 weeks in advance, up to 100% of estimated final cost

  If another booking is taken that compensates the hotel for the cancellation the above charges would not apply.
